Lifetime Warranty Policy

Last Updated: 05/26/2026

Loaded Boards stands behind every product we make. Our Limited Lifetime Warranty covers defects in materials and workmanship for the original owner of new Loaded products purchased from an authorized dealer. Our boards are built to be ridden — which means they'll show signs of age and use over time. That's not a defect; that's a board doing its job.

This warranty is subject to and forms part of our Terms of Service. Capitalized terms used but not defined here have the meanings given in those Terms.

What's Covered

The following products are covered by our Limited Lifetime Warranty against defects in materials and workmanship, for the lifetime of the product as reasonably determined by Loaded Boards based on normal use and the product's design life, when purchased new from an authorized Loaded Boards dealer on or after January 1, 2014:

  • Loaded skateboard decks (including surfskate decks)
  • Loaded complete skateboards and surfskates (including the trucks, wheels, bearings, hardware, and grip tape that ship with the complete)
  • Orangatang Wheels
  • Paris Trucks (including those sold separately and those included with Loaded completes)
  • Carver-made trucks (subject to the additional terms below)

Carver Trucks: Additional Terms

Carver Skateboards is part of the Loaded Boards family. Carver-made trucks purchased through loadedboards.com or other authorized channels are backed by Carver's Lifetime Truck Guarantee, which covers Carver-made trucks against defects in materials and workmanship for the life of the product. Warranty claims for Carver-made trucks are processed directly by Loaded Boards using the same procedure as any other Loaded warranty claim — see "How to File a Warranty Claim" below.

Because Carver trucks are designed and built differently from the other trucks in our lineup, the following coverage and exclusion terms apply specifically to Carver-made trucks:

What is covered:

  • Manufacturing defects
  • Material failures under normal riding conditions

What is not covered:

  • Damage from accidents, misuse, improper installation, negligence, drilling, or tampering
  • Normal wear and tear
  • Cosmetic damage that does not affect functionality (scratches, rust, surface corrosion)
  • Consumable truck components, including but not limited to bushings, pivot cups, kingpins, thrust bearings, and links and springs

For everything else — proof of purchase, how to file a claim, inspection timeline, remedies, international shipping, and limitations of liability — Carver-made trucks follow the standard terms of this Limited Lifetime Warranty.

What's Not Covered

This warranty does not cover:

  • Normal wear and tear. Cosmetic issues, scratches, worn edges, fading, and the natural breakdown of materials over time due to regular riding.
  • Misuse and accidents. Damage caused by misuse, accidents, fires, the implosion of the sun, smashing into curbs, walls, Bactrian camels, cars, wildebeest migrations, meteor strikes, or Segway festivals. Our boards are not built to be bumper cars or to survive the heat death of the universe.
  • Environmental damage. Warping, cracking, or degradation caused by improper storage or prolonged exposure to moisture, heat, cold, or sun.
  • Alterations. Any modification by the owner that affects the product's structure, shape, or intended use.
  • Unauthorized purchases. Items bought from a non-authorized seller (Facebook, Craigslist, eBay, your neighbor's lemonade stand, or a sketchy truck "sale").
  • Electric skateboards, e-skate drivetrain kits, and electric components. Loaded Boards does not offer warranty coverage on electric skateboards, e-skate conversion kits, batteries, motors, electronic speed controllers, remotes, or any other electric drivetrain components, regardless of whether they are sold or referenced by Loaded Boards. Any warranty for these items is provided solely by the manufacturer of those components.
  • Apparel and accessories. Loaded apparel, stickers, and other accessory items are not covered by this warranty.

Warranty Remedies

If a product is determined to be eligible for warranty service, Loaded Boards may, at our discretion:

  • Repair the product, or
  • Replace it with the same model, or
  • Replace it with a comparable model if the original has been discontinued.

Repair or replacement is your sole and exclusive remedy under this warranty. No refunds are provided for used products under warranty claims.

Eligibility and Proof of Purchase

All warranty claims require proof of purchase — a receipt or order confirmation — showing that you are the original owner and that the product was purchased new from an authorized Loaded Boards dealer.

Gift recipients. If you received the product as a gift, you may serve as the original owner for warranty purposes provided you can supply the original gift receipt or order confirmation showing purchase from an authorized dealer.

Minors. If a Loaded product is purchased by a parent or legal guardian on behalf of a minor rider, the purchasing adult is treated as the original owner for warranty purposes.

How to File a Warranty Claim

  1. Contact us or your local shop. If you suspect a manufacturing or material defect, reach out to your local authorized dealer or contact us directly via our contact page.
  2. Receive a Return Authorization (RA#). If your issue appears to be covered, we'll issue an RA# and detailed shipping instructions.
  3. Ship your product to us. Send the product (with the RA# clearly marked on the outside of the package) to:

    Loaded Boards, Inc.
Attn: The One Who Makes Cats Do Unnatural Things
    10575 Virginia Ave
    Culver City, CA 90232
    USA

    • Shipping must be prepaid and insured for the full value of the product
    • Use a trackable shipping method
    • Mark areas of concern with tape or clearly note where the issue is
  4. Inspection and outcome. We typically inspect warranty submissions within 10 business days of receipt and will contact you with our determination.

Inspection Outcomes

If your claim is approved: We will repair or replace the product and ship it back to you at our cost via standard ground shipping within the United States.

If your claim is denied: We will contact you with our findings and offer you two options:

  • Have the product returned to you at your cost (standard shipping rates apply), or
  • Authorize us to recycle or discard the product on your behalf

If we don't hear back from you within 30 days of our denial notice, we may recycle or discard the product at our discretion.

International Warranty Claims

This warranty applies worldwide to products purchased from authorized Loaded Boards dealers. International customers are responsible for shipping costs to Loaded Boards and any associated duties, taxes, or customs fees. For approved claims, Loaded Boards will return the repaired or replacement product at our cost via standard international shipping. Please mark the outside of any international shipment as "Returned Goods" to avoid duty charges on the inbound side.

Limitations of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Loaded Boards, Inc. is not liable for any incidental, consequential, special, or indirect damages arising from your use of our products — including but not limited to loss of use, lost profits, personal injury, or property damage. Any implied warranties, including warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose, are limited to the duration of this Limited Lifetime Warranty to the extent permitted by applicable law. This Section is in addition to, and does not limit, the assumption of risk, release of liability, and aggregate liability cap set forth in our Terms of Service.

State Law Variations

Some states do not allow limitations on how long an implied warranty lasts, or the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so the above limitations may not apply to you. This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights which vary from state to state.

Returns vs. Warranty Claims

This warranty covers defects in materials and workmanship. If you're looking to return an unused item or one that doesn't meet your expectations, please refer to our Return Policy instead — that's a separate process with its own timelines and conditions.
