Design Concept

The Chinchiller was designed in collaboration with Kyle Chin as a unique interpretation of the carving experience with a focus on comfort and inspiration for play. Subtle flex keeps the ride quality smooth but is stiff enough for more technical tricks and slides.

Playful Proportions

The compact wheelbase and topmount design produce a nimble and responsive ride. The slim outline shape with tapered tips pairs nicely with narrow to mid-size trucks for intuitive foot placement and telepathic handling. Mild concave keeps toes and heels comfortably secure.

Creative, Comfy Curves

Rocker between the trucks cradles your feet for a locked-in feel, enhances stability, and lowers the board for easier pushing. The rocker profile flattens at the inner truck holes to preserve steering geometry and creates a subtle “nano drop” for board awareness and extra support when carving and sliding.

Functional Features

Mellow nose and tail kicks provide ample leverage for manuals, shuvits, and other tricks while keeping the board compact and streamlined. CNC-milled wheel wells allow clearance for 65mm wheels with no risers.

Bio-Based Composite Construction

A vertically laminated bamboo core is sandwiched between triaxial fiberglass skins and bio-based epoxy resin for high strength in a thin, lightweight construction. Snowboard-style top and bottom sheets add abrasion resistance and vibration damping.

Loaded Chinchiller

"I've always wanted a Loaded Board, and the Chinchiller was exactly what I was looking for. This board can carve like none other, and grips the road exactly the way you would hope. In case it was not obvious, this is not a downhill board, although it can hit small hills. I highly recommend this board to anyone looking for a board specifically for cruising or for carving."

A Special Board

"The Chinchiller is like everyone says - a ton of fun. So agile while still being comfortable. Huge thanks to Rak and the rest of the Loaded team - this one has a special place in my collection."

And now for something different!

"I got the Chinchiller to scratch my itch for something different. I already have my “main” everyday driver in the Fathom, but was also feeling like I wanted something that I could have a sort of more playful ride, but with stability. The Chinchiller was exactly what I was looking for. It’s light weight, carvy and fun to ride around the neighborhood on or to cruise to the gas station for my dollar scratchers!"

Amazing board

"I received the board on time and love every single thing about it. carves and pumps great. it genuinely feels like a unique board to ride on. my only issue is that I don't think I got the bushings or trucks I had placed on it because I ordered the matte black trucks and the nipple bushings. either way, GREAT COMPLETE SETUP."

Nice

"It is fun just pushing and turning on it, even though I don’t know any tricks"

70's soul arches and Bert's? Yes please

"Being an older skater(53), as soon as I saw both the top and bottom graphic of this board it harkened me back to the fashion of the 70's, so I was immediately interested. Now in the grand scheme of things graphics mean nothing when it comes to how the board functions. I've ridden everything out there, from little 70's set-ups with metal and clay wheels all the way up to modern tech popsicles, and just about every configuration of longboard out there. I've skated vert, pool, bank, ditch, launch ramp, street, park, hill, and probably stuff I'm forgetting, and I can say undoubtedly this is one of the funnest set-ups I've touched. They say the Basalt Tesseract is the Spork of the line-up, but I think if you take out higher speeds this one is a compact Spork that shines wherever you put it. Whether just cruising and carving, or throwing some harder wheels on it and playing on some transition. The flex is perfect for my 5'11" 175lb frame, and with some Knuckles added, it is one loose turn-fest of a setup. Loaded has a real winner with this board, and I hope it stays in the line up."
