An indispensable tool!
"From increasing truck turny-ness and pumping ability- to nixing speed wobbles downhill, Angled risers are a must have for any builder. If you stack 2 together (14 degrees) and add long hardware 2", 2 1/4" or even 3 inch deck screws for some thick boards.. - you can "DE-WEDGE" your rear truck for increased pumping ability by lowering your king pin angle closer to 10 to 20 degrees which is optimal for pumping. As well as reducing speed wobbles!! Or using 1 1/2" deck screws, you might use only " WEDGE " the front truck to increase turnyness and carving. And, you can run bigger wheels without wheelbite for additional speed and comfort! The MAIN difference between angled risers and boring flat risers is that angled risers will change trucks turning charecteristics. Flat risers, pretty much only eliminate wheelbite. Actually, you will want a mix of both types BUT if you only had angled risers- they can do either change truck angle -or stop wheelbite so they are doubly usefull."
