Snowboard-inspired composite construction combines vertically laminated bamboo and fiberglass for a durable, lightweight, and lively ride. Cork bottom layer provides vibration damping.

FUNCTIONAL DESIGN

Drop-through truck mounting for stability and easier pushing. Cambered profile and variable edge concave create a lively and precise riding experience. Cutouts combine with flared wheel wells to maximize clearance for big wheels and allow deep carves and tight turns. Minimal nose and tail kicks help navigate city streets and open the door for freestyle trickery.

HIGH-PERFORMANCE FLEX

Bamboo and fiberglass provide lively and energetic flex perfect for hard carving and pumping. Flex 1 is ideal for heavier riders or aggressive tricksters seeking more stiffness and stability, while flex 2 is the best choice for lighter riders or those looking for a more responsive board.

SUPER SAP

Bio-based epoxy by Entropy Resins. Uses bio-based materials from industrial waste streams such as tree sap to replace petroleum content and reduce the carbon footprint of the epoxy from manufacturing. "I love how the board looks. You can barely feel anything on the road with this board. The only thing I was disappointed about was the flex. I got the flex one because I’m around 200 to 230 Depending on the day which is the recommended weight, but I feel like it’s still too stiff and doesn’t flex enough so you’re super high. So I advise to get the flex 2 just a little disappointed but overall a good quality board."

Q&A

I weigh 195 lbs. I want a flexible and responsive Icarus, but find myself inbetween the flex recommendations. I don't plan to be doing free riding. Looking for some fun pumping/cruising. Would the Flex 1 be flexible enough at my weight? I don't want to get a Flex 2 and be bottoming out all the time. I'm worried the Flex 1 may be too stiff. What do you recommend? Thanks.
Since you are in the overlap range of both flexes it depends on what your planned use might be. Choose the Flex 2 if simple carving and cruising with an absorbing flex for comfort is your primary need. Choose the Flex 1 if you need a bit more rebound for pumping, and if you plan to do some light freestyle.
