"Great board, surprised it is being discontinued"
"Bought one of these at a skate shop and definitely don’t regret it. It’s been perfect for getting around my college campus and isn’t too bulky to keep it next to me during lectures. My brother has the tesseract and he loves his as well. A great board!!"
"Newby; I'm old (46) but wanted to try skating again; got a regular skateboard and almost killed myself; researched longboards for carving/pumping and decided the Fattail would be mine; I really enjoy it. I keep it in my truck all the time. I live in CowHampshire so weather is tough. This thing glides smooth and for quite a distance. I did get the larger wheels (85mm) after as I got launched at the beach boardwalk with the ones that came with it; I like that the board isn't symmetrical and has a lip on the back which I feel might make it easier to kick up the front; I am really addicted to this thing and will be bringing it to FL on vacation in a week; I did get the flex 1 as the scale says I'm 180 but dare I say I might've done better with a flex 2 for pumping; I'm happy with the look and build quality as well."
"So I used to ride one of these with gull wing sidewinders 2s and it was an extremely flexible deck and very fun to ride it was run over by a car and the deck survived but the truck broke still I love the durability of it"
"What other board can perform excellently with wheels of all sizes, from 62 to 80mm and with trucks of all kinds, whether it be tkp, rkp, carver, wide or narrow? Only the Fattail."
"I've been riding Fat Tail, mostly for commuting, for two years already. And it's fat tail, and a small kick nose both give a whole lot of advantages comparing to classic pintail. It pumps greatly, allowing you some basic freestyle not to be bored. It has formiddable pop, allowing you to ollie - so have a pair of TKP's (I prefer my Surf Rodz) to lower your deck. Thanks to the camber, it eats some bumps, saving your knees during the day. As a summary - while commuting here and there, you still can shred, grind, and do much more than a traditional cruiser board can."
"I used this board as a commuter for quite a while and it performed like a dream. Paired with some tkp trucks and 60mm 78a wheels, I could push it for days without tiring. The flex of the board damps the vibrations and makes the ride much more enjoyable since it allows you to pump and carve like you were born for it ! I'd recommand the fattail to anyone looking for a stylish, light, functional and flexy do it all board"
"This board combined with the Paris Savants and Orangatang Kegels is the best setup a longboarder can wish for!"
