Orangatang Releases 80a Freerides

You asked, and we... farted. After much anticipation and gratuitous flatulence, Orangatang is now releasing our stone-ground freeride wheel lineup in that cush orange 80a urethane. For those that revel in the buttery, predictable drift of a soft wheel with lots of speed control, here's your chance to break lots of wind.
80a Stimulus, Fat Frees, and Durians will be available worldwide on Monday, April 4.
These wheel are a very smooth, soft, cushy, comfortable ride and will make a great cruising, carving, freestyle and commuting wheel with moderate slides. NOTE: If you are going to be going fast and busting slides at 25mph+, these wheels can wear quickly and it may be better to get the more durable 83a or the most durable 86a freeride wheels.
Aluminum Core Race Wheels Now Available

The Orangatang 4 President (70mm) and In Heat (75mm) racing/hard carving wheels are now available worldwide with machined aluminum cores in an 80a (orange) durometer. The stiffer and heavier core allows the wheel to grip harder, develop more even wear patterns, and maintain maximum roll speed.
The aluminum core wheels will be part of a limited run (the standard versions will continue to be available), so dig in while the flesh is fresh! They are now available only from select skate shops and online dealers worldwide (they will not be sold directly from the Loaded or Orangatang online stores).

Orangatang is proud to present our 70mm 4 President and 75mm In Heat racing/hard carving wheels in a new machined aluminum core version (the standard version will still be available). The added mass yields higher rotational inertia, while the higher stiffness results in increased traction and more even wear patterns. These will initially be offered in our orange 80a formula.
Aluminum core 4 Prez and In Heats will be available worldwide on Monday, February 28.
