Chadd from our newsletter, sharing his weight lost story by longboarding. Very inspiring....
A little update on my quest, as of today I hit 208lbs at 17% body fat. Started at 242 on Nov.4. Skating daily doing (long distance pumping) LDP on the Dervish at the local park track. I have gotten up to 4 miles in 30 minutes (typically I try to do a 45 minute session). All pump. I do that every weekday if its not raining at lunch time. The evening routine is 8PM when the kids go to bed, every night weather allows. 2-3 miles worth of up and down hills and slopes in the hood. Learning how to drift and slide while not looking like an idiot is not easy. But who cares right?
I still want to drop a bit more now that I understand the whole body fat versus weight thing. 195 lbs is going to be the new goal at 15% body fat.
My life has changed man. Quite drastically. I can't wait to get outside now. TV has become a whole lot less important. And I come back to work after lunch every day with "perma-grin".
You asked for a pic, sorry if it makes you blow kiwi chunks.... I ain't cute...
Have fun and thanks for the inspiration,
Chadd
