The lowdown:
Using the Chubby Unicorn and its moniker as inspiration, create your very own illustrated haiku masterpiece.
The nitty gritty:
- Your original poem must follow the traditional haiku format (5 syllables in the first line, 7 in the second, and 5 in the third).
- You are highly encouraged (but not required) to reference some aspect of the Chubby Unicorn (name, mythical nature, rotund body image, etc.) in your haiku.
- Superimpose your text over an image (which may or may not also relate to the Chubby Unicorn) and email your entry as a single JPG image (600 x 600 pixels) to haiku@loadedboards.com.
- You may submit as many entries as you like. Get those creative lipids flowin’!
Submissions will be displayed on the “Loaded Haiku” Pinterest board: pinterest.com/loadedboards/loaded-haiku. We’ll select one winner each week and one grand prize winner at the end of the contest. Judging will be based on the number of likes, repins, and overall creativity of each entry.

Timeline:
